The community garden was founded in 2024 by church members and named in honor of long-time member, teacher, and avid gardener, Mary Lou Aufmann. Church members and volunteers built fencing, garden beds, and a compost area for use by church members and the community.
The Mary Lou Aufmann Community Garden prioritizes cooperation, inclusivity, and sustainability, and members hope to expand rental space in the seasons to come.
| Rental Information: This year GNH has eight 4’x8’ raised beds available to rent for $25.00 each, with more beds planned for the future. Spaces are subject to availability and assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Familiarize yourself with the garden and compost rules, then complete and sign the application and send to GNH460 Fleming RdCincinnati, OH 45231 Once your completed application is approved, the rent will be due in full. |
