FACILITIES
The Congregation takes pride in its facilities. It aims to insure the comfort and safety of all who attend without creating a lavish environment. We purposefully balance the spending of money on facilities with what we believe is a more important task: to serve and assist our city and those who are in need.
Our church has a sanctuary and many rooms available for all manner of events, ranging from classes to weddings and everything in between.
The Gathering at Northern Hills offers a comfortable, bright and modern sanctuary. There are multiple classrooms for children and youth, a large social room, kitchen and ample restrooms. We also offer a fenced area dedicated to community gardens. There is also a very large parking lot with designated handicap spaces.
Rentals
GNH makes its sanctuary (seating capacity approximately 120), Quimby Room (capacity approximately 65 at round tables, approximately 130 theater-style), and several smaller classrooms available for rent on a one-time or an ongoing basis to approved groups and individuals. GNH POLICIES FOR WEDDING AND MEMORIAL SERVICES*

Requests for use of GNH for either of these types of services should go directly to the GNH administrative assistant (513-931-6651) who will then contact the Board of Trustees.
GNH POLICY FOR WEDDING SERVICES FOR NON-MEMBERS
There is a rental fee of $500 for use of the GNH sanctuary to be paid 30 days before the date of the event.
If needed, GNH can provide contact information of officiants legally recognized in Ohio to perform wedding ceremonies. GNH can also provide contact information for our church musician and our audio-visual technician (including access to Zoom), who may be available and will set their own fees.
There is an additional $500 fee for use of the Quimby Room if needed for a reception. If alcoholic beverages are served, renter must show proof of wedding and special event insurance. At the conclusion of the event, the renter is responsible for all clean-up of the Quimby Room and the kitchen. All additional costs incurred are the responsibility of the renter.
GNH POLICY FOR MEMORIAL/CELEBRATION OF LIFE SERVICES FOR NON-MEMBERS
There is a rental fee of $500 for use of the GNH sanctuary to be paid before the date of the event.
If needed, GNH can provide contact information of possible officiants, our church musician, and our audio-visual technician (including access to Zoom) who may be available and will set their own fees.
There is an additional $500 fee for use of the Quimby Room if the family wishes to use it for a reception. At the conclusion of the event, the family is responsible for all clean-up of the Quimby Room and kitchen. All additional costs incurred are the responsibility of the family.
GNH POLICY FOR WEDDING SERVICES FOR GNH MEMBERS
GNH hopes to make this joyous celebration as pleasant as possible for the participants.
There is a nominal rental fee of $300 for use of the sanctuary to be paid 30 days before the date of the event. GNH can provide contact information for officiants who can legally perform the ceremony in Ohio, as well as for our church musician and our audio-visual technician (including access to Zoom) who may be available. The member would pay the officiant’s fee, the musician’s fee, and a $50 donation to GNH for use of our AV technician.
If the Quimby Room is used for a reception after the service, there is an additional rental fee of $300. If alcoholic beverages are served, member must show proof of wedding and special event insurance. At the conclusion of the event, the member is responsible for all clean-up of the Quimby Room and the kitchen. All additional costs incurred are the responsibility of the member.
GNH POLICY FOR MEMORIAL/CELEBRATION OF LIFE SERVICES FOR GNH MEMBERS, SPOUSES, OR DEPENDANT CHILDREN
This is the last event where GNH can recognize and honor the service of a member.
There is no building fee for the member’s family for use of the sanctuary. GNH can recommend possible officiants, and the officiant’s fee (ranging from $250 to $500 determined by the officiant) will be paid by GNH.
GNH can provide a musician, an audio-visual technician (including Zoom if requested), and possibly an usher. A small fee of $50 donated to GNH by the family is requested for use of the technician. Printing of programs is the family’s responsibility.
The Quimby Room will be available at no fee for a reception following the service. The family is responsible for the planning and costs of a reception. GNH will provide coffee, tea, and non-alcoholic beverages at no cost to the family if requested. Set-up and clean-up after the reception will be the responsibility of the GNH Care Team.
Floral arrangements, as well as anything not mentioned above, are the responsibility of the member’s family.
